12 Month Clinical Pharmacy Fellowship with Emphasis in Specialty Pharmacy and Wholesale Management
Fellowship Program Overview
Value Specialty Pharmacy (VSP) located in Altoona, PA was established in 2011 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Value Drug Company.
The selected fellow will experience a “Patient Centered Approach” at Value Specialty Pharmacy as well as an in-depth wholesaler experience in partnership with Value Drug Company. The program is designed to allow the fellow to increase their knowledge and understanding of both specialty pharmacy and pharmacy wholesale business.
The fellow will actively participate in the handling of specialty medications from prescription intake through dispensing. The fellow will learn regulatory standards, compliance, reporting, and auditing as they relate to specialty pharmacies and patient support programs.
The fellow will become familiar with medications from various disease states and associated support programs. Fellows will work closely with their clinical mentor to learn about business operations, business development, and analytics. Upon completion of the fellowship, the candidate will be well versed in key components of pharmacy and wholesaler operations.

Program Details
- Must graduate from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
- GPA of 3.0 or higher is recommended
- Must be willing to relocate to Altoona, Pa
